Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing sub-systems alignment, calibration, functional test, troubleshooting, instrument final integration and system test. Position Responsibilities: Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under general supervision. Assemble electro/optical/mechanical sub-systems that require calibration and functional test according to the Standard Operating Procedures. Perform troubleshooting on components and integrated systems. Align complex optical systems with aid of in-house software and instruments. Assemble and align laser-based equipment and perform functional tests. Perform instrument final integration and full system test. Perform final product QC procedures, inspection, and packaging. Perform data collection and analysis. Perform work order processing to complete products to inventory. Interpret and respond to quality data. Understand manufacturing workflow and create/update work instructions. Support Continuous Improvement, 6S and Lean activities. Support material kitting, packaging, and crating activities (when required). Perform transactions in MES and ERP systems according to the work instructions. Identify, report and initiate non-conformance in NC platform. Execute containment and assign task in NC platform. Coordinate with Equipment Team on scheduled equipment and tool maintenance. Perform periodic inventory check and cycle count activities. Provide training as per WI and OJT form and assess trainee OJT competency. Position Requirements: Communicate well with supervisor and other employees. Knowledge and skills typically acquired through previous positions in fast-paced corporate environments which involved responsibility for similar work. Experience with FDA regulated medical device manufacturing. Awareness of compliance and safety requirements. Good verbal communication skill, able to comprehend enquiry and provide concise information verbally. Good written communication skill and provide concise information in writing. Able to identify and differentiate Primary and Secondary colors. Preferred Experience/Education/Skills: Experience with SOPs, travelers, WIs, GMP, 6S and Lean is a plus. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic) preferred. Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience; or equivalent.
