Summary / Objectives This position is ideal for a retired HVAC technician, welder, machinist, or metal fabricator seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Technician/Welder will be responsible for mechanical assembly, welding, and fabrication tasks, contributing to the production of high-quality systems and components. Essential Responsibilities 1. Perform TIG welding with precision and consistency 2. Follow bill of materials and assembly instructions accurately 3. Conduct mechanical assembly of components and systems 4. Fabricate parts using various tools and techniques 5. Bend tubing to specifications 6. Apply HVAC knowledge in assembly and troubleshooting 7. Solder and braze copper and stainless steel materials 8. Understand and apply basic AC/DC electrical concepts 9. Manage spare parts including ordering, usage, returns, inventory, and stock control   Competencies 1. Ability to follow procedures and instructions 2. Teamwork and collaboration 3. Effective communication skills 4. Business awareness 5. Strong customer service orientation 6. Relationship management Supervisory Responsibility This position does not include supervisory duties. Work Environment This is an in-house position within a manufacturing facility.
