Who We Are At Firestorm, we’re on a mission to revolutionize how defense solutions are designed and delivered. Our goal is to empower U.S. ally nations to effectively deter aggressors — regardless of their defense budget — through innovative, cost-efficient technologies. We call this vision “democratized deterrence.” As a VC-backed company at the intersection of defense and Silicon Valley, we’re pioneering the development of mission-adaptable aerial vehicles that put power back into the hands of operators. By prioritizing operator effectiveness, we’re pioneering a new era of aerial vehicle design. We aim to upend the traditional defense procurement model by delivering world-class capabilities at a fraction of the usual cost. Join us at Firestorm as we redefine defense procurement, making cutting-edge technology accessible to all at a fraction of the cost. Perform routine and corrective maintenance on xCell systems and related equipment, including compressors, HVAC, generators, electronics, and robotic manufacturing tools. Inspect parts during and after production to ensure compliance with dimensional, functional, and quality standards. Utilize post-processing tools such as media blasters, drill presses, and hand tools to prepare parts for mission-critical use. Maintain accurate and detailed digital logs, including maintenance records, system performance data, spreadsheets, and technical drawings. Identify and communicate issues that impact production schedules or system performance to leadership promptly. Participate in operational equipment training and adhere to all safety and environmental compliance protocols. Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support deployments, field operations, and equipment installations. Follow all safety and environmental compliance protocols Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in additive manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or job shop environments. Proven experience maintaining industrial-grade AM hardware and production tools. Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical systems, and basic diagnostics. Ability to interpret and manage digital files, technical drawings, spreadsheets, and maintenance records. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to support and mentor peers. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and dependable.
