You’ll assemble hydraulic products such as manifolds, small assemblies, and power units, partnering with Customer Service and Engineering to keep production moving and customers supported. Key responsibilities General shop responsibilities Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment Support 6S and lean manufacturing initiatives Provide feedback to supervisors on issues and improvement opportunities Move materials/assemblies using forklifts and overhead cranes (with training) Participate in cross-training and assist other departments as needed Assembly Assemble hydraulic assemblies using technical drawings and schematics Install and connect fluid power components Perform repeatable tube bending and light fabrication Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and shop equipment (drill press, band saw, chop saw) Use adhesives, lubricants, solvents, epoxies, and related materials as required Follow detailed work instructions and accurately record labor activity Testing & Inspection Conduct hydraulic pressure and leak tests to verify integrity and performance Clean and inspect components before and after assembly Identify, correct, and document non-conforming product Document results and ensure compliance with quality standards Return unused parts and materials to inventory Communication Communicate with team members, Engineering, and supervisors to resolve issues Respond to routine emails/calls and complete work documentation as required Read, interpret, and follow special instructions, schematics, and test documentation Ensure job paperwork is complete and filed appropriately Join FSC and become part of a team that builds real-world solutions that keep industries moving. Requirements High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience) 1+ year related mechanical or hydraulic experience Valid driver’s license Mechanical aptitude and strong hand tool skills
