DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect products for flaws and troubleshoot/repair any issues Perform hands on tasks using various tools Minimize downtime to maintain optimal production flow Rotate between operations within a work line/cell as well as between product lines Assemble a variety of subassemblies and finished products using verbal and written work instructions Maintain a safe and clean work environment, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures Notify appropriate personnel if a process/method is out of compliance Clean, pack and process Electromechanical finished goods Move parts and materials as needed to maintain orderly material flow Performs other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES: Possess strong problem-solving skills and experience with troubleshooting electronic components / wiring issues Attention to detail and knowledge of how quality impacts the success of the organization, and potential costs due to negative impacts on a company's reputation Capability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility Possess strong verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills to act as a liaison Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly based on business needs Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), power tools, and in-house developed product-specific tooling/fixtures Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. (Lifting of components onto workstations or moving product on carts around the shop floor) Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment Ability to work with both large and small parts Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of related “hands on” production experience in an electromechanical manufacturing/assembly environment. Experience following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards Basic computer skills (MS Office – Outlook / Excel) Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective training and communication. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a strong plus but not required.
