Lambda Technologies is looking for a technician to help build, test, and support industrial microwave heating systems. We need a flexible team-oriented individual. We’ve listed a broad range of skills that we could use. While we know that no one candidate may be capable of doing it all, please don’t hesitate to respond. We want to see if you can be a good fit based on your individual experience and skills.
a) Participate in system assembly and debug
Equipment assembly - frame and rack mounted components
Precision assembly and alignment of small electro-mechanical assemblies
Electrical wiring from schematics and soldering (certification a plus)
PCB test and debug
Computer configuration
Temperature sensor setup and testing
Microwave or high frequency component calibration and test
b) Contribute to QC testing and continuous improvement
Final assembly testing using documentation for established systems
Final assembly testing for new systems - documentation does not yet exist
Testing to isolate problems and potential solutions
Working with vendors to implement fixes
Documentation improvements
c) Assistance with technical support
E-mail and telephone support of customer calls
Customer training at Lambda
Opportunities for US and International travel to customer sites
for equipment installation, repair, and upgrades (US passport required)
Candidates should be able to show examples to illustrate their work experience including pictures of finished products or subassemblies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
