QUALIFICATIONS
- A National 5 or equivalent in English & Maths is required. A National 5 or equivalent in a Science subject is preferred.
Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Manufacturing division!
You will work within the Manufacturing team responsible for the delivery of Cellular Therapy products, responsible for the execution of defined supporting steps in accordance with cGMP regulations and quality standards.
You will work on a shift pattern (exact shifts TBC, but likely to rotate between Mon-Tues and Thurs-Sun 9am-5pm, Tues-Fri 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm). You will also provide support for out of hours, weekend and overtime cover where required.
You will perform activities such as:
- Controlled cleaning of laboratories, clean room facility and equipment
- Stock checks of production consumables and materials
- Completion of line clearances, processing, and disposal of biological laboratory waste
- Completion of quality related documentation including batch production records, training records, and logbooks
- Review and archiving of quality related documentation
- Preparation of manufacturing packs and transfer of documentation, materials, and samples between RoslinCT sites
- Assist Manufacturing Biotechnologists during cell therapy processing
- Operating equipment and supporting/executing validation activities, calibration of equipment, and performance of daily equipment checks.
- Escalate and report any deviations to materials, facilities, processes, or procedures to the supervising team.
