OBJECTIVE: The Assembly Technician builds assemblies efficiently and effectively to the highest quality standard that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations. JOB DUTIES: Understand and demonstrate Wasco Core Values. Follow all MWI/Shop Aid/Verbal instructions. Understand Work Orders and verify kit quantities. Perform quality assurance on any Assembly Dept process. Monitor the functioning of all equipment, notify the Specialist/Supervisor of any issues. Perform approved Preventative Maintenance, as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Available to work extra hours, as needed. Perform additional duties, as assigned. Requirements EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: No experience required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 lbs. at chest level several times a day. Good hand and eye coordination with manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Ability to see the full spectrum of colors and track fine details visually to discover defects in parts or processes. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Time management Strong communication skills English proficiency (read, write, speak, understand) Attention to detail Manual dexterity Adequate visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) Team collaboration Occasional travel may be required.
