Ipsen in Ireland is represented by a dynamic state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, creating API for our key products.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technologist to join the team on a 1 year fixed term basis. We operate on a 24/5 shift basis, with no weekend work (Friday night shift finishes early Saturday morning). This role attracts a 25% shift allowance.
The Manufacturing Technologist performs daily Manufacturing operations, as outlined by the Shift Lead and Area Owner, with a view to meeting the overall objectives of productivity, timeliness and cost while following GMP and EHS expectations.

Main duties to be performed:

  • Utilise resources for the performance of the manufacturing plan in the relevant area and contribute to detailed batch schedule plan.
  • Complete all batch related documentation promptly and accurately
  • Perform calibration of Manufacturing equipment in the relevant area in conjunction with the maintenance calibration schedule.
  • Cross Training in all Manufacturing areas (Synthesis, Purification & Cleanrooms)
  • Ensure Compliance with site EHS and GMP systems and procedures e.g., Permit to work Systems, Incident/Accident Investigation procedures etc.

This is a vital role to our success, requiring an appropriate scientific qualification and/or a track record in the pharmaceutical manufacturing arena.
