WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES WILL BE…

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Operator who, in support of the Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for performing preventive, routine and extraordinary mechanical maintenance on equipment and machinery within a heavy mechanical manufacturing environment.

  • Perform general maintenance on equipment within the manufacturing plant, such as welding equipment, air compressor and vacuum pumps.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to maintain its perfect efficiency and operation by replacing individual components before they reach their functional limits to avoid unplanned downtime.
  • Perform periodic checks on machinery, replacement of worn components, lubrication of moving parts and gears, motors and mechanical handling systems as well as replacement of worn-out tools.
  • Handle sudden breakdowns, therefore, starting with a plant analysis identify the causes of the problem and accordingly choose the most suitable procedures to solve the malfunction and get the machinery back in operation.
  • If required, carry out conformity checks with related acceptance tests to check the actual operation of the machinery

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS…

  • High school degree in mechanical field or similar.
  • Experience of at least 2/3 years as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing site in the engineering field.
  • Proven skills in managing multiple projects and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform the work activity with full autonomy.
  • Strong propensity for problem-solving and teamwork.
