Les Intérieurs Mobilia Inc., un chef de file en ameublement contemporain, est à la recherche d’un(e) Étalagiste / Manutentionnaire qui pourra se joindre à notre équipe.
La personne choisie aidera à présenter les produits Mobilia dans les magasins du Québec et à Ottawa de façon à inspirer nos clients et en maintenant des normes visuelles élevées pour optimiser les ventes, tout en suivant les indications du planogramme.
La personne travaillera sous la responsabilité du Directeur des Achat, planification & présentation visuelle. Il/elle travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le département des achats & l’équipe marketing afin de mieux comprendre la marque, les produits et les campagnes qui seront présentées en magasin. L’Étalagiste / Manutentionnaire visitera régulièrement les magasins au Québec et à Ottawa pour maintenir les normes visuelles élevées afin d’optimiser les ventes.

TEMPORARY POSITION WITH POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION

Mobilia Interiors Inc., a leader in contemporary home furnishings, is seeking a Visual Merchandiser / Handler to join our team.
The selected candidate will help present Mobilia products in stores across Quebec and Ottawa in a way that inspires our customers while maintaining high visual standards to optimize sales, following the planogram guidelines.
Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, Planning & Visual Presentation, the role involves close collaboration with the Purchasing and Marketing teams to understand the brand, products, and in-store campaigns. The Visual Merchandiser / Handler will regularly visit stores in Quebec and Ottawa to maintain high visual standards and drive sales.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate in Visual Presentation, Interior Design, or related field.
  • At least 6–12 months of experience in a similar retail position.
  • Bilingual (spoken and written).
  • Interest or knowledge in interior design.
  • Ability to illustrate ideas and concepts through sketches and drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans.
  • Ability to lift and move medium to large items (up to 75 lbs) using proper equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Occasional travel to Toronto may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Adapt store planograms to create an optimal shopping experience and increase profitability.
  • Move merchandise (furniture and accessories) with the help of the Visual Technician to meet objectives.
  • Analyze product performance by store and adjust placement as needed.
  • Understand Mobilia’s four style worlds and target customer to make informed styling decisions.
  • Create inspiring displays for the existing product range according to visual guideline standards.
  • Optimize store layout and space; maintain displays through regular upkeep.
  • Recognize each store’s opportunities and constraints to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Educate associates on effective merchandising and display techniques.
  • Implement product storytelling using merchandising strategies created by the Visual Coordinator.
  • Install displays outside stores (co-branding opportunities, design shows, etc.).
