Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the Sports and Recreation department, the Marching Band Lead is responsible for the creative development, implementation, assessment, and management of the Marching Band program within Sports and Recreation Services. As a Marching Band Lead, you will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day band management operations while continually developing strategies to foster a supportive and high-achieving environment for all members, strengthening the band program. Candidates will excel in this role if they possess a dynamic blend of musical expertise, practical leadership, and teaching ability, supporting the development of vocalization, movement, and dance skills among band members.
