DESCRIPTION

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Ideate and execute graphic design solutions that solve strategic business briefs for product launches, advertising campaigns, and special events. Frequent multitasking on design projects that require creative problem solving, robust technical skills, and a high attention to detail. Adapt quickly to new information and creative direction to apply it to design deliverables. Utilize open and collaborative communication skills to give and receive thoughtful creative feedback in a multi-disciplinary design studio. Brainstorm, coordinate, and collaborate frequently in order to bring to life Apple’s key elements of design and art direction for worldwide marketing campaigns. Prepare creative concept presentations and deliver to senior staff members and cross-functional stakeholders. Translate creative concepts into design implementation guidelines for production teams that are scalable to worldwide markets. Provide feedback to production vendors in retouching reviews, ensuring accurate color and quality reproduction in print and digital formats. Teach technical and process design skills to junior staff members. Direct contract graphic designers and visual artists. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $156,125 - $176,800/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
• Designing novel graphic design solutions to solve strategic marketing briefs.
• Translating creative concepts into design implementation guidelines that are scaleable to worldwide markets.
• Using Cinema 4D or other 3D software to render complex product imagery.
• Experience creating presentations to clearly communicate concepts that meet business objectives.
• Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create detailed drawings, layouts, and images.
• Experience with color theory as it applies practically to print and digital design, including an understanding of accessibility and cultural requirements.
• Using Adobe After Effects or other motion design software to animate graphics and product renders.
• Creating technical and creative briefs for photographers to direct product photography, including composition, lighting, and tone.
