Job Summary: The Marine Forces Special Operation Command (MARFORSOC) Recruiting and Advertising (R&A) Branch conducts activities to identify, recruit, screen and process qualified applicants for MARFORSOC personnel assignments. Assigned contractors work collaboratively with government personnel as part of the R&A team to accomplish recruiting mission objectives. The Medical Case Manager is responsible for the comprehensive review and management of all medical documentation for MARFORSOC candidates.        Responsibilities:  * Review all required medical documents for completion, accuracy and the presence of any potentially disqualifying medical conditions * Ensure all Special Operations (SO) and Dive Physicals are signed and endorsed by a qualified Undersea Medical Officer (UMO) or Undersea Medical Examiner (UME) before a candidate is assigned to the MARFORSOC training pipeline * Serve as the primary liaison with medical personnel and departments throughout the Marine Corps to facilitate the medical screening process * Maintain a positive working relationship with Bureau of Medicine BUMED (M-35) and Headquarters Marine Corps POG-40 to coordinate and track medical waivers * Utilize the government-provided CRM system (Salesforce) to track and update the medical status of all applicants * Utilize the current Department of Health Agency’s (DHA) enterprise medical record system (currently MHS GENESIS), Medical Readiness Reporting System (MRRS), WEBWAVE, and any successor systems * Provide the R&A Operations Officer with weekly status updates on all candidate SO physicals and medical waivers * Maintain a thorough understanding and ensure compliance with HIPAA laws and the NAVMED P-117, Manual of the Medical Department Required Skills and Experience:  * Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in one of the following: Navy Hospital Corpsman (HM) Military Occupational Specialties: HM-8402, HM-8494, HM-8427, HM-8403, HM-8425, or HM-8404, or possess a military service equivalent with demonstrated experience in medical record screening and coordination * Must be proficient in the use of current DHA medical systems, including MHS GENESIS, MRRS, and WEBWAVE, as well as the government-provided CRM (Salesforce). * Must have a working knowledge of the NAVMED P-117, Manual of the Medical Department * Obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and valid US passport Desired Skills and Experience:  * Prior / current work experience with the MARFORSOC R&A program * Previous work experience preparing/evaluating military medical qualifications documentation and preparation / submission of medical qualification waiver requests   * Previous military experience assigned to MARFORSOC * Experience / familiarity with USMC recruiting, assignment system processes and force management procedures Required Background Check: T3i pre-employment background check and drug screening. Verification of DoW SECRET clearance Type of Employment: Full-Time T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.  To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.  All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.  Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
