Responsibilities

LET’S PAINT THE PICTURE OF THE ROLE

Join AkzoNobel, a global leader in paints, coatings, and specialty chemicals, as our Margin & Pricing Implementation Program Manager and be at the forefront of driving margin management excellence across our organization.
As the Program Implementation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling and supporting AkzoNobel’s Margin Management Performance cycle. You will contribute to global process optimization, analytics, and reporting, ensuring a continuous improvement in margin management capabilities across our business units and functions.
You will work in a dynamic international environment and will be based in our headquarters Amsterdam. This role sits within the commercial & strategic development office and is closely collaborating with all the BU’s. You will report to the Director Margin Management Program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead a global network: Activate and lead a global network to keep our community informed about global process stabilization and improvement initiatives. You will communicate standardized processes, share best practices, address performance challenges, and define margin stabilization objectives.
  • Develop training programs: Collaborate with the Margin Management enabler/coach community to develop end-user training materials and programs. Your contribution will empower employees to effectively utilize margin management tools and processes.
  • Drive implementation of a global Margin Management Performance Cycle: Contribute to the development and implementation of a global Margin Management Performance Cycle. You will work closely with our Business Unit Margin & Pricing Leads to define and implement standardized reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Design global standards: Utilize your expertise to design global standards that improve the performance of the Margin Management cycle, including data-driven processes and adjacent processes within AkzoNobel.
    In addition to individuals with a strong technical background in pricing and margins, we are seeking individuals who can effectively lead transformation initiatives and possess significant expertise in change management.
