We are currently seeking a Marina Office Manager for our upcoming 2026 Summer Season! The Marina Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the marina, ensuring all boats are safely docked, and that the marina facilities are properly maintained. They manage marina staff and interact with boat owners and other customers to ensure they are satisfied with the marina’s services. The ideal candidate has a background in marine operations and excellent organizational skills. They should be able to manage a diverse team, ensure safety protocols are followed, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements Some essential requirements are: Previous marina, boating, or dockhand experience preferred but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic knowledge of boat handling, docking, and safety procedures (training available). Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Boating license or certification a plus! This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a friendly and engaging demeanor with our guests. A willingness to learn about or have general knowledge about the local area, landscape, and history. Preferred experience leading, guiding or teaching people of many ages and physical skill levels. Maintain a keen interest in outdoor recreation. Current CPR and first aid certification preferred. Employees must maintain a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may be long and varied, including evening and weekends, required full-shift walking and standing. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently. Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
