Description We are seeking a Marina Operations & Business Development Manager to lead and grow our marina business, with a focus on wet slips and dry storage operations. This role is responsible for driving marina revenue, managing client relationships, promoting the marina to attract new customers, and overseeing the day-to-day business side of marina operations. This is not a service or rigging role. It is a commercial, client-facing, and operational role focused on increasing marina revenue, occupancy, and overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities Marina Sales & Revenue Growth Actively sell wet slips and dry storage spaces to new and existing customers Manage renewals, waitlists, and ongoing client relationship Develop and execute strategies to increase marina revenue and customer base Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for marina clients Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention Handle inquiries, pricing discussions, and contract execution Marketing & Business Promotion Promote marina services through social media and digital channels Create and execute initiatives to attract new marina customer Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing and visibility efforts Marina Oversight & Continuous Improvement Regularly walk the marina to identify improvement opportunities related to safety, organization, and customer experience Coordinate with internal teams as needed to support marina operations Systems, Technology & Process Management Manage marina operations using marina management software such as DockMaste Oversee paperless contracts and digital documentation for marina clients Use CRM tools such as HubSpot to track leads, prospects, clients, and sales activity Maintain accurate records related to slip availability, dry storage capacity, active clients, and waitlists Provide regular reporting on marina performance and revenue Requirements Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in sales, business development, marina operations, storage, real estate, or a related field Strong client relationship and customer service skills Experience using marina management systems such as DockMaster (preferred) Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools Comfortable working in a paperless, digital contract environment Strong social media and digital marketing skills Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple systems Self-motivated with a performance-driven mindset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits & Perks We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays Performance-driven compensation aligned with business growth Benefit eligibility and plan details are subject to company policies. Compensation Structure Base Salary $48,000 annually Monthly Performance Bonus (Based on Gross Marina Sales) The role includes a competitive monthly performance-based bonus, tied directly to gross marina sales and overall business performance. High performers have the opportunity to earn up to $100,000+ annually in total bonus compensation, depending on results.
