Description Job Summary A Pier Staff member is responsible for representing the marina in a professional and courteous manner, serving as the face of the business during a wide array of customer inquiries on a daily basis. A Pier Staff member provides the highest level of prompt courteous-customer service at all times while maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming place to do business. This is a part-time seasonal position that could lead to full-time work for the right candidate. Must be able to work weekends. Job Responsibilities & Duties In general, Pier Staff member duties include but are not limited to: Greets all marina guests, customers and co-workers in a prompt and courteous manner Is safety conscious and follows all documented workplace procedures Accurately performs sales transactions of fuel, ice and miscellaneous supplies Serve ice cream, snacks, and beverages to marina guests Assists customers with docking and securing boats Demonstrates proactive care for the environment by avoiding gas/oil spills and properly disposing of litter General cleaning of marina and docks Qualifications & Requirements Age 16 or older Boating experience preferred, but not required Maintain a professional appearance at all times Team-oriented, self-motivated and process driven Understand and follow directions, company policies, and established procedures Work independently, be self-motivated and act in safety-oriented manner at all times

Duties include performing sales transactions, serving refreshments, assisting with boat docking, and maintaining the cleanliness of the marina and docks.
