Description Objective This position is responsible for monitoring machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients supplies are being used on the line while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to MPF Policy. Organizational Relationships Reports to: Production Supervisor Internal Contacts: Production Managers, Production Supervisors, Marination Lead, R&D, production employees, Support I & II and HACCP personnel. Primary Job Duties Employee is responsible for preparing ingredients to be added to tumblers to recipe specifications. Follow recipes as specified by MPF. Required to calculate, record and verify weight of ingredients. Responsible for reading the production schedule and write where required for documenting weights, temperatures, lot codes and various production numbers and information. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Position Pre-Requisites Basic Math Skills Basic Computer Skills Must possess a certain amount of natural dexterity with hands Must be able to read ingredient Labels Must be able to follow directions Skill Requirements Must be able to read and write numbers and be able to read written English instructions. Must have 3 months of work experience with one employer in the last 12 months and a minimum of 1 months’ work experience scaling dry and wet ingredients for batch cooking in a manufacturing environment. Must be willing to work weekly overtime, and occasional weekends as needed. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required. May require occasional assisted lifting of up to 70 lbs. and push or pull up to 1000 lbs using a pallet jack. These positions work in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces.
