Job Description Location Abu Dhabi, UAE / Offshore Sector Oil & Gas / Offshore Marine Services Job Purpose To act as the company’s marine representative and provide marine/HSE advisory support for offshore logistics, vessel operations, offshore lifting, installation works, and technical marine compliance activities. We are seeking experienced Marine Consultancy Services Professionals to support offshore marine operations, inspections, engineering reviews, diving supervision, and vessel/barge representation activities for major offshore oil and gas projects. These roles require strong offshore experience, solid understanding of marine safety and operational standards, and the ability to work in demanding offshore project environments. Suitable candidates will be assigned based on project needs across marine inspection, advisory, engineering, diving, and offshore construction support functions. Key Responsibilities Conduct marine vessel inspections from marine and HSE perspectives Support daily marine office activities such as vessel monitoring, scope preparation, technical reviews, and contractor audits Witness and monitor offshore lifts and installation activities Participate in or lead incident investigations Provide technical marine advice to contractor marine personnel Verify marine operational documents and compliance records Prepare required technical and operational reports Participate in emergency response management and reporting Ensure marine HSE rules and procedures are properly implemented Qualifications Master Mariner Class 1 Certificate of Competency (STCW compliant) from an accepted issuing country, or BSc in Maritime Discipline or equivalent Strong spoken and written English Good computer and report writing skills Experience Minimum 10 years of offshore oil and gas experience Experience serving as Master on vessels such as PSV, AHTS, heavy lift, dive support, construction, pipe lay, cable lay, DP, or conventional vessels Familiarity with offshore marine standards, field logistics, and offshore installation support activities Additional Information Successful candidates will typically demonstrate: Strong offshore oil and gas marine experience Sound knowledge of marine safety, HSE, and operational procedures Experience working with offshore vessels, barges, or marine construction units Good technical reporting and communication skills in English Ability to work in offshore operational environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong compliance mindset and familiarity with international marine standards and best practices Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Unlimited Job family: Workshop - Maintenance
