Seden Clarke Limited is seeking an experienced Marine Cargo & Freight Liability Loss Adjuster/Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in marine cargo surveying and claims assessment.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing marine cargo and freight liability claims, providing expert insights into damage assessments, and working closely with insurers, road and sea carriers, and goods owners to ensure fair and efficient claims handling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site inspections for marine cargo claims
* Assess and determine the cause of damage, loss, and liability
* Corresponding and communicating with sea and road carriers and their liability insurers as well as goods owners to ensure fair and efficient claims handling
* Provide detailed reports, including expert recommendations for risk mitigation and loss prevention

* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
* A detail-oriented and proactive approach to risk assessment and claims management
Remuneration:
* Negotiable and depending on successful applicants’ experience
* Company car options for discussion
Location: Based at our head office in Suffolk (onsite free car parking).
Hybrid working considered.
