Exciting Opportunity for Marine Draftsman Are you a skilled draftsman with experience in marine or engineering projects? We are looking for a Marine Draftsman to support engineering and production teams by developing accurate design and fabrication drawings. This role is essential in ensuring project requirements are translated into detailed technical drawings that meet applicable standards and support efficient production. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare basic design drawings based on customer requirements and applicable rules, regulations, codes, and standards. • Develop detailed fabrication drawings in line with approved design drawings. • Issue hard copies of fabrication drawings for project and production review. • Prepare cutting plans and nesting plans for production activities. • Generate Material Take-Off (MTO) from fabrication drawings. • Prepare MTO/BOQ for estimation purposes. • Review drawings received from vendors and subcontractors. • Create new drawings in AutoCAD as per requirements from Design and Production Engineers. • Resolve production queries and provide technical clarifications. • Maintain proper filing and organization of drawings in the server for easy retrieval. • Perform additional tasks as assigned by line management to support project completion. Requirements: • Education: Professional Training Certification, ITI, or Diploma in Engineering. • Technical Qualification: Strong drafting skills. • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; 3–8 years preferred. • Skills & Abilities: Good understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication processes, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple teams. • Languages: Fluency in English is required. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D drafting software, and MS Office. Responsibilities

The Marine Draftsman will prepare detailed design and fabrication drawings, including cutting and nesting plans, to support engineering and production teams. They are also responsible for generating Material Take-Offs, reviewing vendor drawings, and providing technical clarifications to resolve production queries.
