We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior electrician with marine experience to support our dynamic Gladstone operations.
Job Description
You are a dedicated, technically skilled professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is capable of managing complex electrical systems. Reporting to the General Manager in Gladstone, this full time position is responsible for the running maintenance and repairs of the electrical, electronic and and control systems. Working closely with the shore based Maintenance team, Technical Superintendent and crew to ensure the planned maintenance system is maintained in a safe, efficient and cost effective way.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Certificate with at least 2-5 years experience
• Knowledge of marine electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
• Willingness to be part of a dynamic, and diverse team,
• Skilled in problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Confident in using electrical diagnostic tools and software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Experience in the marine industry including knowledge of marine electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems a distinct advantage
