Description

To supplement our team of highly skilled Marine Engineers and their apprentices on refit projects in our modern purpose built facilities, provide in-service support to commercial clients and to service the needs of our marina client base working on a range of sailing and motor yachts as well as maintaining our own company vessels.

The following attributes are essential for this role:

  • Recognised City & Guilds Level 3 marine engineering apprenticeship
  • Experienced installing, servicing and repairing a range of marine diesel engines, ancillary equipment and propulsion systems
  • Ability to recognise and diagnose system faults
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Reliable
  • Motivated
  • Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards
  • Proven Marine industry track record

The following attributes are desirable for this role:

  • Fabrication in S/S and Aluminium
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
