A marine engineer is wanted with experience in Inboard/Outboard diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and complete overhaul including engine and gearbox rebuilds. This person should also have experience in general boating systems and be diverse with their skill set and have great attention to detail.
They will be joining a highly focus Marine Engineering team driven in delivering a high end service and expert levels diagnostics and services.
The applicant will be responsible for carrying out the above works in some of the biggest and best known brands in the marine industry and as such will receive training in multiple marine franchises.
SKILL SCOPE:
- Qualified marine engineer with experience
- Inboard/Outboard engine experiance
- Able to fit service, repair and rebuild marine engines
- Confident with 12v and 24v DC electrics and electronics.
- Attention to detail
- Work well with others and alone
- Clean, tidy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NVQ3 or equivalent in marine engineering.
- 5 years’ experience
- Inboard/Outboard experience
- Inboard/Outboard manufactures certificates ( advantage)
- Experience with Garmin, Raymarine electronics.
- RYA powerboat 2
