Are you our next Marine Payroll Team Lead? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Marine Payroll Lead to join our team. This role is based in Perth, Australia and reports to the General Manager Finance - Asia Pacific. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity requiring an immediate start (ideally). It is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to expand their career into an international company with the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities: Coordination and management of the end-to-end marine payroll function, including computation, processing, and timely payment for the DOF Asia Pacific regions. Ensuring statutory and internal control compliance, mentoring, and competence development within the marine payroll team. Focus on continuous improvement, process documentation, and staying up-to-date with changes relevant to Awards, EBAs and legislation. Ensuring the company adheres to all legal obligations related to paying employees, including calculating wages, providing accurate payslips, withholding taxes, superannuation payment compliance, STP reporting, company end-of-month and end-of-year reporting and mandatory record keeping. Significant exposure to and experience with Australian maritime payroll requirements, rostering and interpretation of awards and EBAs. Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Human Resources, Finance or business related) - desirable. Demonstrated experience in: i. Managing payroll in a large, complex organisation ii. People leadership, capability development, and performance management iii. Ownership of data accuracy and security iv. Applying your knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and the application of awards/EBAs v. Compliance and risk management.
