Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marine Spray Painter to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Examine, Prepare and mask surfaces for painting, ensuring smooth and clean surfaces. Apply, sand and shape Fairing compound.
  • Mix, match, and apply paints using the latest techniques and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality.
  • Perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all company safety policies procedures and guidelines.
  • Work closely with other team members to meet insurer deadlines and client expectations.
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of spray booths and painting equipment. (Housekeeping)
  • Able to follow paint specifications and documentation.
  • Abrasive blasting & surface preparation
  • Spray application using conventional & airless
  • Painting to specifications
  • Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.
  • Must have experience in applying 2K paint.
  • Applying vessels with anti-corrosive applications
  • Preparing vessel for launch
  • Painting of additional components for new vessels as required. ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards.
