We are looking for an experienced candidate with the right skillsets to join us at a recognised, award winning maritime hull grooming/cleaning solution provider in Singapore.
This role would be based in Singapore.
Primary Responsibilities:
➢Providing training sessions (both physical and online/remote sessions) and taking on demonstrations / development trials / testings of ITCH onboard vessels during transit.
Note: Additional voyage allowances will be given, following vessels for above activities.
➢Carrying out verification surveys onboard vessels in ports, terminals or anchorages.
➢Logistics arrangement of equipment to and fro storage warehouse and vessels in Singapore.
➢Maintenance and updating on software/firmware if needed, trainings will be provided from HQ in Stavanger Norway.
➢Customer supports: Providing recommendations and advice to enhance equipment operations.
➢Accompanying and joining local f2f sales meetings and product demonstrations, whenever it is required.
➢Assist in other tasks as and when required.
Requirements:
➢Polytechnic graduate (and above) in maritime studies, marine and offshore engineering.
➢Ex-maritime deck cadet (Preferable).
➢Able to board vessels at ports, terminals or anchorages and taking on short voyages with vessels.
➢Strong communication, scheduling and reporting skills.
➢Analytical, structured, thorough, self-driven and proactive.
➢Team player, ability to contribute ideas.
➢Ability to travel overseas for internal trainings, and job related tasks, whenever needed
