Full time Marine technician

We are delighted to offer a full-time role for a technician in our busy workshop. Experience is preferred but not essential, although a good understanding of mechanical engineering will be required.

The successful applicant will be working alongside our current team who hold a wealth of experience and technical knowhow of all aspects of marine engineering. We cover all service, maintenance and repairs to all inboard, outboard and personal watercraft in house.

The applicant should have:

A good knowledge of 12V electrical systems

An understanding of diagnostics and fault finding

Be able to work independently where required and able to work under pressure to maintain the high level of service our customers expect from us at all times

Manufacturer training is preferred although additional certified training will be available.

Being able to work in a clean and safe manner is essential

The applicant should be confidant and able to interact with customers directly

A full UK driving license is essential

Good rate of pay available/negotiable on experience

Working hours

1stMarch – 31st October – 48hrs min per week including weekends and bank holidays 9am to 6pm

1stNovember – 28th February – 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
