This is not an entry-level role—we’re looking for skilled technicians who take pride in diagnostics, repairs, and quality workmanship. Why This Role Stands Out • Up to $40/hour with performance incentives • Monday–Friday schedule • Year-round, stable employment • Work on premium boats, engines, and marine systems • Fully equipped shop with modern tools and diagnostic software • Dedicated support staff (service advisors, parts team, management) • Paid manufacturer training and certifications • Clear path for advancement and higher earnings Compensation Hourly Pay + Performance Incentives (Stable income with strong upside) Typical Earnings: $35–$40/hour Schedule • Full-time, year-round position • Monday–Friday • 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. • 8–10 hour shifts during peak season What You’ll Do • Diagnose and repair marine engines and boat systems • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs • Complete rigging, winterization, and seasonal prep/commissioning • Install and repair marine electrical systems, electronics, and components • Work on outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines • Use diagnostic software and dealership systems (Lightspeed EVO) • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently • Work with service advisors and team members to meet deadlines • Safely move boats, trailers, and equipment (forklift/tractor use) What We’re Looking For • Mechanical experience (marine, automotive, diesel, RV, or powersports) • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment • Attention to detail and pride in quality work • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Preferred Experience • Marine technician or marine mechanic background • Experience with outboards, inboards, and sterndrives • Electrical diagnostics and wiring experience • Manufacturer certifications (or willingness to obtain) • Experience with dealership software (Lightspeed EVO a plus) No marine experience?
