JOB DESCRIPTION
Underwrite and develop marine cargo and hull business to achieve the targeted profitable portfolio
Ensure smooth workflow within the Marine Team
Ensure collaboration across lines of businesses, functions and countries to proactively address the needs of our customers
Work closely with Accounts on credit control matters, Claims Department to keep abreast of submitted claims and to improve underwriting based on claims results.
Ensure compliance of Company’s reinsurance treaty limits, terms and conditions to protect Company’s net exposure.
Monitor and review annual policies, open covers, cover notes etc
Coordinate and liaise with process team on document processing Provide support on all enquiries pertaining to the web-based portal for marine cargo.
Able to place and accept facultative reinsurance.
Responsibilities
3-5 years’ experience in Marine underwriting
GCE ‘A’ or Polytechnic, Diploma Singapore College of Insurance
