MARITIME COMPLIANCE ENGINEER / SPECIALIST

KROHNE Marine is looking for a motivated Maritime Compliance Engineer/Specialist to manage the certification
process and ensure products meet global maritime standards. The role involves working with international
certification bodies and internal teams to ensure compliance with maritime regulations. In addition, this role requires a
proactive approach to navigating complex regulatory environments and a strong ability to communicate and
collaborate across multiple departments to achieve compliance excellence.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education in a technical field such as naval architecture, automation, mechanical engineering or electronics
  • Maritime work experience is a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language at both oral and written level
  • Organisation and administrative management skills
  • Commercial results and customer service orientation
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical installation
  • Flexibility as required by the marine sector
  • Proactivity and productivity orientation
  • Teamwork and relationship building
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
  • Integrity and conformity to the KROHNE corporate culture
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry
  • Experience in fittings, process instrumentation and knowledge of data communication will be considered a plus
Responsibilities
  • Certification Management:

Coordinate with international certification bodies to organise and manage maritime product certifications

  • Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor maritime legislation and assess its impact on product offerings.

  • Technical Collaboration:

Serve as the main contact for R&D, ensuring product development aligns with regulatory standards

  • Documentation & Communication:

Work with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate technical documentation and product samples.

  • Product Development Support:

Provide regulatory guidance throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to market launch.
