The Mission We are recruiting a high-caliber nurse for a dedicated 1:1 medical role attending an 80-year-old VIP aboard a luxury superyacht. This position offers a distinct change of pace from ward-based care, focusing on personalized health management while cruising the Mediterranean. Your backdrop will shift from the rugged coasts of Scotland to the sun-drenched ports of Monaco, Santorini, Ibiza, and Portofino. The Team You will be an integral member of a Western-trained medical department. The unit is led by a Lead British Doctor and includes resident Physiotherapists. This multidisciplinary setup ensures you have professional support and clinical governance at sea. The Safety To prioritize patient safety and staff well-being, the nursing team operates on a strict double-nurse shift system. This rotation prevents fatigue and guarantees you have the energy to perform your duties and the time to explore the destinations during the voyage. The Process We value your time. The initial interview and screening phase is conducted entirely via a secure online platform, allowing you to complete the recruitment process from Edinburgh before deploying to the vessel. Requirements Requirements Education: Western Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent Degree. Experience: A mandatory 4+ years in Acute Care (ICU, A&E, or High Dependency) within a major NHS board or private hospital. Language: Native English is required for clear clinical handover and communication with the British medical lead.
