Hours: 6pm - 6am (12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of over 400 marina berths, associated facilities and visitors.
This role involves a mix of reception duties, patrols, customer service and emergency response. You will be the first point of contact during your shift, providing reassurance and assistance to berth holders, visitors and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reception area manning - greeting visitors, answering phone/VHF, allocating berths, recording details.
• CCTV and alarm monitoring, responding promptly to activations.
• Static and mobile (On-foot) patrols of pontoons, car parks, fuel quay, hoist dock and buildings.
• Assisting with vessel berthing, including handling moorings and monitoring access in adverse conditions.
• Car park monitoring and key-holding for customers.
• Fire prevention, accident prevention and public safety measures.
• First aid provision when required.
• Completing checklists and incident reports in line with site procedures.
• Monitoring site conditions, identifying hazards and reporting faults.
• Supporting environmental and health and safety protocols.
