The company provides a wide portfolio of value-added marine services and ability to integrate these offerings for its customers – always with safety and the environment at the forefront.  Headquartered in Dubai, the company has operations globally across all seven continents.   ABOUT THE ROLE  Based in the Dubai Head Office and reporting to the VP Commercial and Tendering - Offshor,  the Chartering Manager , Offshore will  lead the chartering of the vessels in the required region/regions; working with the regional team to ensure maximum utilisation of the fleet.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Commercial Management Chartering: * Lead the chartering activities for P&O Maritime Logistics in required region/regions; * Coordinate the deployment of all P&O Maritime Logistics assets with the Commercial and Operational team, to ensure optimal utilization and day rates are achieved; * Develop and/or review the relevant tenders & offers in line with Company’s Commercial Directives; * Coordinate and monitor of contract execution by consolidating progress and value reporting for analysis by senior management team, advising on variation and potential risks, advising on invoicing and recoveries; Contract Management:  *  Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions and in alignment with the company’s policies and financial objectives. * Draft, review, and finalize commercial agreements, including charter party contracts. * Manage contract administration, including monitoring compliance, addressing any issues and contract close-out Financial Performance: * Develop pricing strategies to optimize vessel utilization and maximize profitability. * Track revenue, costs, and expenses related to vessel operations. * Prepare financial forecasts and reports, highlighting key performance indicators. * Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies Relationship Management: * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. * Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively *  Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. *  Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and client meetings.   SELECTION CRITERIA Qualifications and experience Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred). * Proven experience in a chartering management role within the offshore oil and gas industry. * Sound knowledge of vessel operations, including PSVs, AHTS, and crew boats. * Demonstrated success in business development and contract negotiations. Minimum Experience: * Minimum of 5 years’ Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) experience with oil and gas industries in a Chartering / Commercial Management role. KEY ATTRIBUTES Technical Skills:   * Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles within the maritime industry.  * Proficiency in market analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.   Leadership and Collaboration: * Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. * Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
