The company provides a wide portfolio of value-added marine services and ability to integrate these offerings for its customers – always with safety and the environment at the forefront.  Headquartered in Dubai, the company has operations globally across all seven continents.   ABOUT THE ROLE  ased in the Head Office in Dubai, and reporting to the VP Commercial & Tendering - Offshore  , this  role will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research and analysis to support the organization's strategic decision-making and business development initiatives within the marine logistics sector. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the marine logistics sector with focus on the offshore oil and gas and the renewable sector. 2. Gather and analyze data on competitors, customers, and market conditions to support business development, marketing, and sales efforts. 3. Monitor industry news, publications, and regulatory updates to stay current on market developments and provide actionable insights to the organization. 4. Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing fluctuations within the oil and gas sector. 5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Finance, to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and initiatives. 6. Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. 7. Assist in the development of market segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the organization's market position and growth opportunities. 8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement based on data analysis. 9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of market research methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the quality and accuracy of research findings. 10. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's services and value propositions to effectively analyze and interpret market data within the context of the oil and gas industry. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications:  * Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum Experience: * A minimum of 3 years of experience in a market research or analyst role, preferably in the marine logistics industry, with a focus on the oil and gas and offshore renewables sectors. Key Attributes * Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and methodologies. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
