TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a technician/engineer with systems experience in maritime navigation, communications and sensors. Military combat systems experience is desirable.
This role is based in Auckland and will require travel between the central city office, Devonport and Whenuapai. From time to time travel may also include Wellington or short overseas engagements.
You will be contributing to the delivery of complex and critical mission systems, technology, and software including commercial, industry and military applications. This role will provide you with the opportunity to grow and develop your systems and technical career, with support from a team of experienced Systems and Software Engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Technical support to install, maintain, repair and upgrade systems with Defence and other clients
  • Provide maintenance, system upgrades and defect resolution to mission critical systems in the maritime domain
  • Find practical solutions to engineering and system problems for a variety of clients and stakeholders
  • Support and lead consulting tasks including risk management, design, safety and systems engineering
