Join Alexion as a Market Access Manager for Austria and Switzerland, where you will lead the implementation of market access strategies for our rare disease portfolio across the Alpine healthcare landscape. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for rare disease products across the Alpine region, including pricing business cases. Prepare and submit compelling reimbursement dossiers to Austrian and Swiss health authorities. Conduct health economic evaluations and budget impact analyses using Austrian-specific methodologies. Provide strategic market access insights to cross-functional brand teams to support business strategy development. Manage claw-back processes with Austrian social insurances, ensuring compliance and accurate reconciliation. Support financial planning through precise forecasting of price evolution and market access timelines. Qualifications University degree (PhD or MSc) in Science (Pharmacy, Biosciences), Medicine, Health Economics, or Law. Exceptional command of formal German with proven expertise in precise written communication. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Market Access role within the Austrian market. Strong experience in creating reimbursement dossiers in German and understanding health economic evaluations. In-depth knowledge of the Austrian reimbursement system. Excellent analytical, numeric, and modelling skills combined with a goal-oriented, independent working style. Ability to engage effectively with authorities and key stakeholders in official proceedings.
