Join us as a Market Access Manager in our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. The main task will be to manage Market Access projects according to company strategy and pipeline, ensuring that all appropriate patients who would benefit, get rapid and maintained access to medicines developed by AstraZeneca. You will work with the cross-functional disease area team (HEOR, Medical Affairs and Commercial) to develop reimbursement/HTA strategies and applications for new products or indication extensions. This includes full responsibility and project lead of the processes in terms of managing communication and requests from the Danish Medicine Council. You will also develop relationships with key influential authority bodies, support the development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment, and assess market access risks and opportunities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and execute on product specific market access strategies
  • Lead the development of HTA dossiers to the Danish Medicine Council
  • Creation of product value communication in line with the overall product strategies
  • Provision of market access expertise to support commercial strategies and campaigns and ensuring that market access requirements are embedded within the brand plan
  • Serve as a member of the cross-functional disease area teams
  • Keeping yourself updated regarding the market access environment and on key trends in Denmark, and the impact for the AstraZeneca products
  • Develop relationships with key influential authority bodies to optimize chances of success in the above activities
  • Support the development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment
  • Assess market access risks and opportunities and communicate to global & nordic stakeholders to develop appropriate plans

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in managing processes with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated resilience in handling complex situations and driving projects to success
  • Knowledge of the Danish Health Care system, financing systems and HTA pathway and guidelines
  • Ability to understand scientific data and how it can be applied for market access purposes
  • Credible, dedicated, focused, and have strong decision-making capabilities
  • Great interpersonal skills and an established network within the field
  • Strong integrity and professionalism and be able to handle high-pressure situations effectively and methodically, thorough and meticulous and can prioritize independently with a collaborative approach
  • Proficiency in Danish and a high level of verbal and written English
