ELP SHAPE PATIENT ACCESS IN THE DUTCH AND BELGIAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

ALK is seeking a proactive and skilled Market Access & Public Affairs Manager for Benelux to join our team in the Netherlands. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of market access strategies, manage reimbursement dossier submissions, and engage with key stakeholders including ZIN, VWS, CTG, and health insurers. Your contributions will directly influence patient access to our innovative allergy immunotherapies.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in market access or public affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and submitting reimbursement dossiers.
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursement processes and stakeholders in the BENELUX (e.g., ZIN, VWS, NZa, RIZIV).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
  • A proactive, structured mindset with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities

As Market Access & Public Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading strategic interactions and negotiations with ZIN, VWS, CTG/RIZIV, and health insurers.
  • Representing ALK in policy forums and industry associations to advocate for access to our therapies.
  • Monitoring healthcare policy developments in the Netherlands and Belgium, and assessing their business impact.
  • Contributing to cross-functional teams by providing expert input on market access and pricing strategy.
  • Preparing and submitting national reimbursement dossiers (e.g., GVS), independently and in compliance with requirements.
  • Driving the development of communication materials that convey the value of our products.
  • Supporting public affairs initiatives and influencing policy developments to enhance product access.
  • Ensuring that all market access and public affairs activities comply with applicable regulations and internal standards.
