Main Purpose of Role: As a Market Access Specialist, you will be an individual contributor working under limited supervision. You will apply your subject matter expertise to understand specific needs and requirements, utilizing your skills and knowledge to drive impactful economic research studies.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline. A master’s degree or higher is often preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Several years of experience in market access, health economics, pricing, reimbursement, or a related field within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate market trends and healthcare policies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with statistical software.
  • Ability to develop and implement market access strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Italian healthcare system and regulatory environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Economic Research Design: Design and implement economic research studies for clinical trials, providing economic perspectives for product portfolio decisions, marketing strategies, product reimbursement, and regulatory submissions.
  • Value Comparison: Compare and evaluate the economic value of products and therapies using clinical and quality of life outcomes data from clinical trials and epidemiology studies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product reimbursement team to develop strategies, marketing, and pricing programs.
  • Clinical Research Integration: Collaborate with clinical research teams to incorporate health economics endpoints into clinical trials and work with biostatisticians to analyze and report study results.
