Job Description Main challenge The Market Analyst reports to the Director of Product Management and aims to assist in the company’s portfolio decisions from high level product strategy to in-game systems. They will analyze various sources of information, often in a creative way, using outside the box methodologies, and provide clear insights and recommendations for our games. What it means on a daily basis Market insights: Keep the company updated on key market trends and insights Company Strategy: Support key initiatives in the Product vertical with platform features benchmarks Internal consultant: Assist game teams with ad-hoc analyses and recommendations Competitive benchmarks: Proactively study new game systems and asses their performance Key Insights Stakeholder: Use different sources and creative methods to produce reliable insights for decisions, even when the available data is limited or unclear. What success will look like At 3 months, success means being able to provide direct recommendations based on the research conducted for ongoing projects. By 6 months, success is reflected in delivering more comprehensive and complex analyses, even in situations where no direct or existing information is available, demonstrating the ability to derive insights independently. Who you would be working with The Market Analyst reports to the Director of Product Management, Alexandra, and works closely with another Market Analyst, Tiberiu, based in Bucharest. The role involves frequent collaboration with the direct manager and, at times, with the Creation team. While the position offers a high level of autonomy, regular check-ins take place every one to two weeks, supported by tools such as Trello for task and project tracking. Your recruitment journey First stage: a 40-minute HR interview on Teams. Second stage: a test where you will demonstrate your skills and see if this role is a fit for you. Third stage: a 1-hour online interview with your direct manager. Final stage: a 1-hour online interview with one of our colleagues from the department. Where this role can take you In the long term, you will have the opportunity to grow in seniority or, based on our career path, progress into a Product Manager role. Qualifications What you need to succeed 2+ years of experience in games/consulting, research or analytical roles - previous Market Analyst experience is a plus Full proficiency of Excel/PowerPoint – experience with data visualization tools is a plus Complete fluency in English, both written and oral Who you are Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Passion for games, with solid knowledge of PC and console titles Highly organized, able to turn fragmented information into clear, actionable conclusions Resourceful and rigorous in gathering and validating information from multiple sources, able to spot patterns or inconsistencies Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to different audiences Additional Information What's in it for you Benefits Permanent contract, full-time job with excellent Social Benefits. 25 vacation days per year + Birthday day off.
