Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Analytics Manager to lead a team of four dedicated Market Analysts. This role is crucial for delivering key market insights, supporting decision making and driving business strategy across our organisation. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in analytics, stakeholder management, and project execution, with a passion for mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
Minimal travel required: 5-10%.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualifications in a STEM subject, or relevant discipline.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Advanced Excel, including forecast modelling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with relevant analytical tools and software is required.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in analytics, with a preference for candidates from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in people management, including mentoring and leading a team of analysts or data professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four Market Analysts. This includes setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Strategic Project Management: Oversee the execution of critical analytical projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on time. Examples of projects include creating and adjusting territory structures for sales teams, developing and maintaining business dashboards, and delivering actionable market insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key internal stakeholders, including leaders and teams in Brand Teams and Finance. Understand their needs and translate them into analytical projects for the team.
  • Insight Delivery: Ensure the team’s analysis and insights are clear, compelling, and effectively communicated to influence business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the broader MABI team and other departments to identify synergies and support strategic initiatives across the organisation.
