We’re supporting a major initiative within the Markets division of a global investment bank to build out a Market Data License Store – a platform designed to capture and manage internal and external redistribution rights, dataset descriptions, and digital rights management (DRM) attributes across the firm’s Market Data estate.
To deliver this critical programme, we’re looking for:
2x VP-level consultants (5–10 years’ experience)
4x AVP-level consultants (3–5 years’ experience)
These roles require a minimum of 4 days of office attendance in Canary Wharf per week.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Commercial contract analysis – strong understanding of legal and commercial terms in data licensing
• Market Data expertise – proven SME knowledge of vendor products and services (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, etc.)
• Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is essential for entitlement tracking
• Analytical mindset – able to spot trends, risks, and value across datasets
• Stakeholder engagement – confident working across Legal, Compliance, CDO, and front office teams
•

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for analysing Market Data vendor contracts to extract key commercial terms and entitlement rights, working closely with Legal, Markets, and the CDO to ensure accurate capture into the License Store. Your work will directly support the firm’s ability to govern data entitlements, manage redistribution rights, and strengthen control frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and interpret Market Data contracts
• Extract and document key rights, usage terms, and redistribution conditions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate entries in the License Store
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and commercial opportunities across vendor agreements
