POSITION OVERVIEW

Avero is looking for a Market Development Analyst who will be responsible for facilitating the development of leads by conducting market research and generation for the sales team across all new and existing customers. Primary responsibilities will include identifying and developing business opportunities within the market, developing a pipeline and strategies with the sales and revenue team to gain a better position for opportunities, and identifying customer needs for existing markets. This is a 100% remote role reporting to Avero’s Digital Strategy Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential target hotels, restaurants, and clients and create a detailed profile that includes key information and your preliminary assessment by utilizing online resources (LinkedIn, Industry Databases and social media.)
  • Assist in cleaning up and enhancing prospect data within CRM to ensure accurate and actionable information for outreach.
  • Develop a framework to assess the potential value of leads, identify any potential red flags.
  • Clean up former leads in existing pipeline.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of acquisition efforts, report on key metrics, and suggest optimizations.
  • Track and analyze sales activity, including leads generated, meetings conducted, conversations and deals closed to help understand target customers and improve lead generation.
  • Prepare reports on market trends, competitive activity, and the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to improve sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct industry specific and niche market research to understand their current marketing efforts, target audience, and potential pain points.
  • Identify potential opportunities within specific niches (e.g., boutique hotels, luxury resorts, fine dining, casual dining).
  • Identify former customers/segments we should re-engage
  • Collaborate with sales/marketing team top run campaigns for successful outreach and by providing valuable insights and data to inform the company’s sales and marketing and lead strategies.
  • Prepare concise and informative reports on lead generation activities, including key findings, challenges, and recommendations.
