Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the DACH market, you will be responsible for initiating strategic conversations with enterprise energy companies and positioning Gorilla’s solutions as the answer to their data challenges.
This role goes beyond traditional prospecting—you’ll research and map out complex organizations, engage senior decision-makers through tailored outreach, and help drive market expansion. Working closely with the Account Executive, Sales Engineer and Marketing Team, you’ll play a key role in identifying high-value opportunities and shaping Gorilla’s presence in the region.
Through structured coaching from the Head of Market Development, you’ll develop into a high-impact enterprise sales professional with a deep understanding of both the energy industry and SaaS sales.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Identify & Engage Enterprise Prospects – Research and target key accounts in the DACH region, connecting with decision-makers through strategic outreach, personalized messaging, and event participation.
  • Become a Market Expert – Build industry knowledge in energy pricing, forecasting, and portfolio management, enabling you to speak the customer’s language.
  • Drive High-Impact Conversations – Understand the business priorities of enterprise companies and articulate how Gorilla’s data solutions align with their goals.
  • Track & Optimize Sales Efforts – Maintain accurate prospect insights in CRM tools like HubSpot, ensuring seamless lead progression.
  • Represent Gorilla at Industry Events – Support sales initiatives by networking and building relationships before, during, and after key industry events.
