Job description – Market Garden Harvest Hand
Part Time/ Student Position
Meadow Lynn Farms is a family-run dairy, crop, strawberry and vegetable operation in Simcoe. We run a community support agriculture (CSA Veggie Box) program servicing families every week at our on-farm location.

THIS POSITION WILL RUN FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO END OF OCTOBER 2025

We are looking for someone to help with harvesting, transplanting, weeding, fall clean-up and winter greenhouse preparation.
This position is full days Monday and Tuesday, with part days Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. With occasional weekend hours.
Must be able to stay until 7pm on Tuesday evenings.
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs
Must be able to work outside in all weather - cold, rain, wind, sun and heat
Willing to take coop or students

Tasks include:

• Harvesting Vegetables
• Washing and Packing Vegetables
• Weeding fields and greenhouses
• Watering
• Transplanting and seeding crops
• Organizing orders and general cleanings of pack house
• Other duties as assigned, tractor experience is a plus

Drivers License is also an asset but not required
Experience working outside or with vegetables is an asset but not required.
Must be a Canadian Citizen for this position.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $17.20-$30.08 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
