The Purpose of Your Role
As our Market Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for transforming data into strategic advantage. Your mission is to develop and maintain both quantitative and qualitative market intelligence, from competitor benchmarking and consumer profiling to market demand analysis and media performance. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to turn insights into action, shaping decisions on pricing, product, and customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain a robust competitor intelligence framework, analysing positioning, pricing, and product to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver market demand insights by understanding population demographics, consumer needs, and purchase drivers.
  • Maintain and evolve market analytics tools and dashboards to optimise marketing investment.
  • Translate customer and competitor data into actionable strategies that directly impact revenue, occupancy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure intelligence drives tangible commercial outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years in business intelligence, market research, or commercial analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong data and financial modelling skills, with experience in ABS statistics and demographic modelling.
  • Experience working with Sales, Marketing, or Commercial teams.
  • Understanding of the customer journey and digital media marketing.
  • Adaptability to learn new analytics tools quickly.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Google Analytics, Power BI, quantitative market research.
  • Exposure to Databricks, ArcGIS, CoreLogic APIs.
  • Background in industries where high-involvement customer decision-making is key.
