The role involves stakeholder collaboration in Vietnam and Melbourne, with a focus on education market trends and business intelligence. Based in HCMC, with potential regional scope. Reports to: Senior Manager, Market Intelligence Key Accountabilities Establish and implement a strategy for gathering/managing data requirements and disseminating performance metrics & analytics across wide range of data owned by RMIT Market Intelligence Department. Partner with other teams on projects to develop methodologies, reports and dashboards that provide business insight into leading indicators and provide recommendations that inform and enhance decision making including but not limited to Products, Pricing, Brand and Market Performance. Collaborate with other Market Intelligence teams through complex statistical models and quantitative analyses. Guides team on processes for selecting methods and techniques. Lead all quantitative data processing, data interpretation, analyses and modeling. Drive quantitative project milestones to completion. Build partnerships, define accountability, and lead the activities which operationalize key findings. Create reports and visualizations to fulfill requests from market research team using a variety of database and analytic technologies. Develop tools, tests, and dashboard to enable implementation of insights. Supports testing, training, and development of new marketing initiatives. Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making and business planning Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences Model database needs based on project requirements and maintain data dictionaries and documentation associated with these data models. Formulate process for automated insights to management using advanced BI tools. Develop and maintain an in-house market intelligence hub and produce regular and ad-hoc reports to inform relevant internal stakeholders of challenges and opportunities regarding brand, products, pricing, competitors, promotion, and channels Ensure continual refining of current market research/market intelligence processes by identifying inefficiencies and ensure adherence to the ethical and professional requirements of with RMIT Privacy, Compliance, Risk & Regulation; suggest and implement processes and tools that enables the digital, regional expansion initiatives of the university. Key Selection Criteria Bachelor's in business analytics, marketing or another aligned major. At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role in in market research or/and similar industries Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfort working with complex datasets, predominantly in Excel and SQL, Power BI is a plus. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to detail with strong quality control Experience with data visualization/BI Tools such as Power BI to communicate business insights using data Demonstrated good knowledge and experience with computer software and platforms, including databases, spreadsheets, presentation software, apps and social media. Proficient using MO365 suite and SPSS, SQL for database management and data manipulation Excellent customer service approach and ability to engage, support, and work collaboratively with managers and stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. Well-developed interpersonal skills including coordination, liaison, and communication, both written and spoken, in English and Vietnamese, across a broad range of stakeholders Strong project management, agency and commitment to continuous improvement in work processes, to ensure quality outcomes. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
