About the role The role of the Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst is to survey, build and manage product reviews, ad hoc analyses and to work with Product Development in both the ideation and the product positioning phases. This Role will also work closely with Product and the Sales areas helping create ‘We Win – They Win’ Product Comparisons. What you'll do Product Expertise: Identify the unique selling points for our current product suite across various income ages, market scenarios, and riders Sales enablement: work with the sales & marketing teams to create detailed playbooks, training sessions and other tools Training: May be asked to develop content and participate in training sessions for Sales teams Field insights: gather feedback from sales teams, and internal stakeholders to identify common pain points and challenges; provide this feedback to the product leaders Deliver timely updates on competitor activity Perform ongoing research to identify sales opportunities Develop heatmap tracking on the competitiveness of the Kuvare product portfolio by product grouping and distribution channel Upon request, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Qualifications Experience Bachelor's degree 5+ years' experience working with life and annuity products 3+ years' working experience in a Marketing, Distribution, Sales or Research position Working experience in market, competitive and /or sales intelligence Ability to work independently to drive, refine and grow our competitive intelligence function Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills and able to find information that is not readily available from a single source Able to leverage their strong network of internal and external experts to build market insights Skills/Competencies Strong organizational skills with elevated level of attention to detail Demonstrated persistency and ability to deliver results under pressure Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and proofreading skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, etc. Must be a flexible self-starter who can prioritize tasks, follow through and meet deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Demands Normal office working environment, full time with some flexibility Occasional evening and weekend hours to meet deadlines Occasional travel is required Ability to type / perform data entry Ability to read from a computer screen and paper reports Express ideas and otherwise communicate with the spoken word
